About Jan Roelofs

Jan Roelofs I studied art from the time I could pick up a crayon till college, including classes at major art museums in the US and at University including a summer in Florence and Rome with the late Gordon Richardson. I am not a professional or a professionally trained artist, as I chose a different career path, but as a licensed therapist I have utilized art and creativity to help clients express themselves and heal. I have returned to creating art in recent years, learning from the great Mona Mandall. Inspired by nature, I like to produce calming, soothing images, and will accept commissions for a specific topic or image for your home or office. I especially like to create art that can enhance a positive, relaxing and safe atmosphere for those working in the healing professions.
